Real Estate and Workplace Solutions (RE&WS) is responsible for the working environment at WTW — the day-to-day and our global workplace strategy. Our buildings, reception, workplaces and workspaces, catering, meeting spaces, mail, safety and security — RE&WS manage all of these and more for the benefit of our colleagues, clients, businesses and functions. RE&WS works closely with our other function partners to deliver excellence to the WTW working environment
Facilities Services is responsible for the day-to-day running of our offices by providing services that ensure ongoing management and maintenance of our work environment. These include reception and on-site meeting support, and health, safety and security of colleagues and our buildings.
The Role
The key accountabilities of the Facilities Services Specialist role are outlined below and are expected to evolve to meet the growing needs of the business
Day-to-day mentoring of Facilities Services colleagues in the Sydney and Melbourne offices; providing support and guidance for general queries and problem resolution; assisting the Senior FSM with the team's goal setting and professional development through appropriate training. Lead the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) program for both Sydney and Melbourne offices, ensuring compliance with the annual audit requirements; support the Senior FSM with the implementation of various OHS standards across the Pacific region including PAT testing, life safety equipment servicing, record keeping, maintaining the OHS training register, uploading documentation to the Pacific OHS TCT site etc. Assist with the implementation of global OHS and FS initiatives as required. Lead local office AV initiatives, as relevant to Facilities Services, including the coordination of routine preventative maintenance, ensuring meeting room technology is operational and fit for purpose, and escalating ongoing issues for resolution. Corporate social responsibility: support environmental sustainability initiatives across the Pacific region including partnering with landlords in Sydney and Melbourne to identify areas for improvement and supporting WTW's Nasdaq Metrio data collection efforts. Lead and identify opportunities for annual volunteering activities within the FS team. Supplier management; support the Regional Facilities Services Director with the onboarding of new suppliers, as needed, making sure the appropriate due diligence is completed including modern slavery and supplier risk management reviews. Assist with periodic reviews of key suppliers and maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules and repairs; ensuring supplier contact details are current and up to date.
