Join us in a pivotal role within the dynamic energy sector, where your expertise will contribute to one of the largest LNG projects in Mozambique! As the Facilities & Services Lead, you will be at the forefront of ensuring seamless operations and logistics in a challenging yet rewarding environment. Role Overview Safety Champion: Inspire a culture of safety commitment among clients, contractors, and subcontractors through your extensive knowledge of HSE and leadership by example. Compliance Guardian: Ensure adherence to all relevant HSE requirements, promoting a healthy and safe work environment for all personnel. Team Builder: Develop a spirit of teamwork and trust within your team, encouraging both personal and professional growth. Collaborative Partner: Engage proactively with project management teams to focus on logistics execution and planning, ensuring project objectives are met. Logistics Strategist: Support the development and implementation of the Company Project Logistics strategy, enhancing operational efficiency. Relationship Builder: Foster strong relationships with onsite EPC Contractors and Sub-Contractors to ensure smooth logistics operations. Performance Monitor: Track and report on the performance of Contractors' logistics strategies, ensuring compliance with contract requirements. Stakeholder Engager: Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and review Logistics Plans and procedures, informing project management of major findings. Operational Coordinator: Work closely with the Logistics/Ground Transport Manager to ensure logistics operations meet business needs. Risk Evaluator: Assess non-conforming requirements and manage resolutions effectively to minimize disruptions. Reporting Specialist: Prepare weekly reports and collaborate with project control personnel on dashboards for project oversight. Workshop Leader: Participate in logistics workshops to gather improvement initiatives and share lessons learned. Standards Enforcer: Ensure all site services are executed according to project requirements and standards. Change Manager: Implement a zero-change policy unless safety or operability is at risk. Budget Planner: Assist in annual budget preparation, coordinating with cost control as necessary. Performance Analyst: Analyze contractor activities, identifying risks and proposing timely mitigations to the Project Management Team. Feedback Contributor: Gather and validate lessons learned from the project team to enhance future operations. Skills & Qualifications HSE Knowledge: Strong understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations and practices. Logistics Expertise: In-depth knowledge of logistics operations and camp management within the oil and gas industry. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams effectively, fostering a collaborative environment. Communication Proficiency: Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in Portuguese or French is a plus. Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical skills to evaluate performance metrics and resolve issues efficiently. Education & Experience Education: Basic Engineering degree or equivalent. Experience: Minimum of 10 years in logistics operation and camp management as a supervisor/superintendent within the oil and gas industry. About Airswift
