Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Facilities Plant Maintenance Specialist to support the Advanced Composites Center in Hazelwood, MO! The Aerospace Composites Center has state-of-the-art enabled capabilities and operates to support Boeing’s Fighter Programs.

The Facilities Plant Maintenance Specialist will handle all preventive maintenance planning and scheduling for the site as they implement a new robust maintenance system at ACC called Maximo.  The system tracks all scheduling for preventative maintenance on machines and facilities as well as scheduling / process work order tickets and data analytics tied to work order completion and machine downtime for the maintenance department.

Position Responsibilities:

General knowledge of building codes, regulations and safety procedures and is able to read more complex blueprintsResponds to trouble calls and resolves a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexityIs able to interpret basic schematics and diagramsMay provide guidance to less experienced employeesUnder general guidance, reviews customer requirements and may evaluate product capabilitiesHas demonstrated knowledge of the use of a variety of hand and power tools May receive specialized equipment trainingMay provide training to peers and/or customers on the general use of equipment

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ years’ experience with Facilities Project Management or Construction Management3+ years of experience working with detailed work instructions or reading and interpreting blueprints and drawingsExperience performing plant and/or production equipment maintenanceExperience using Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience using Maximo or other Computerized Maintenance Software SystemsPrevious experience in facilities construction implementation, including developing project requirements, design and constructability reviews and negotiating construction documentsExperience with AutoCAD or a similar CAD packageExperience completing installations and repairs that may involve such skills as electrical, mechanical, HVAC and plumbingExperience working in a fast paced customer service related environment, with the ability to quickly respond to trouble calls and resolve a variety of problems

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $56,950 - $77,050 USD
