Summary

The Facilities Manager oversees the maintenance, operations, and safety of multiple facilities within a designated geographical region. This leadership role is responsible for managing a team of Regional Facility Managers and Field Maintenance Technicians, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and a safe, functional environment for employees and customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a regional facilities team, fostering collaboration and high performance. Maintaining effective communication and collaboration with various stakeholders, including senior leadership, operations, and other departments. Oversee day-to-day operations, maintenance, and safety across all assigned sites. Develop and implement strategic plans, including preventative maintenance and day-to-day repairs. Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and service contracts to ensure cost-effective operations. Analyze and resolve complex facilities-related issues, driving continuous improvement. Utilize CMMS (ServiceChannel) to manage work orders, track performance, and generate reports. Identify and lead training opportunities to expand the maintenance skill set of technicians. Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations. Coordinate small-scale projects (under $100K) and ensure timely, quality completion. Ensure bp’s safety, risk, and compliance culture and expectations are met. Prioritize safety in all aspects of the role and support the Believe in Zero safety philosophy.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field. Related retail fuel experience required. 10+ years of experience in facilities management or construction (preferred). 5+ years of management experience. Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and maintenance practices. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS platforms.

Pay Range
