Job DescriptionThe Facilities Manager will ensure that the casino’s facilities and well-maintained, safe, and operational at all times, overseeing maintenance and repair activities, preventing downtime and ensuring a position experience for guests. The Facilities Manages plays a critical role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, comfort, and functionality to meet customer expectations.
Main Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Utilise the maintenance portal to coordinate and manage maintenance, compliance and repair works, updating the maintenance and management teams regarding contractor visitsSupervise and coordinate the on-site maintenance and cleaning teamsDaily monitoring of PPM completion in line with the planner and ensuring SLAs and KPIs are metUtilise the Mindsett Prism dashboard to monitor and manage utility usage to optimise efficiency and minimise costEnsure compliance with safety regulations and oversee emergency preparedness protocolsCollaborate with other departments to address facility-related issues and support operational needsKeep up to date on industry trends and best practices in facilities management to continuously improve processes and proceduresAct as key point of escalation for maintenance issues, escalating with the external FM provider, Venue Director and Property Department where requiredAttend periodic review meetings with the external FM provider to ensure a suitable level of service is being receivedAct as key stakeholder for casino projectsReview quotes received before sending through the approval process where applicableQualificationsComputer literate and at an intermediate standard with MS Microsoft Word, Excel and ProjectPrevious experience in a similar roleIOSH/NEBOSHUnderstanding and experience of hard and soft servicesComputer literate and at an intermediate standardEnthusiastic, proactive, and driven individualGood communicator and interpersonal skills – both written & verbalOpen and transparent with decision makingConfident in developing and maintaining relationships with contractors and suppliersAdditional Information
