We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Facilities Manager (m/f/d) to join the Integrated Facilities Management business line in Berlin.

Facilities Manager (m/w/d)

Your tasks:

Assist the Regional Facilities Manager to develop the vision and strategy of the Client account plans and ensuring the client receives exceptional deliveryImplement the strategy to drive the capability to self-deliver services as instructedUnderstand the local client’s key business drivers, focus the sub teams to ensure those priorities are aligned with our deliverablesEnsures the Facilities Management team within their demise are high performingHire, attract and retain a team of top talented employees; improve team performance through regular coaching and feedback; recommending recognitionAccountable for the country service delivery to meet contractual obligations of Jones Lang LaSalle for the Client AccountManage relationships with key stakeholders in the Client’s organizationImplement country business plans which meets the Client’s outsourcing and Jones Lang LaSalle’s objectives for the Client accountDevelop and maintain a detailed understanding of the Client’s business and key factors influencing their requirement for our servicesServes as a primary sub country point of contact for Jones Lang LaSalle for the Client Account with regards to service delivery and escalation pointAssist the Regional Facilities Manager with the development of country property budgets and forecasts in accordance with the financial timetable.Be responsible for achievement of the agreed financial targets for Poland; revenue, expenses and debtors targets.Responsible for the achievement of key performance indicators, service levels and other measures as contractedEscalation of requirement for change and ensure change control process is adopted and implementedDrive vendors for excellence and cost efficienciesResponsible to the Regional Facilities Manager for management of all Facilities Management resources involved in the delivery of services in their Poland Client locations. Eg. Recruitment, performance assessment etc.Actively manage the professional development of all direct reportsPrepare and implement a Succession Plan for their key team membersResponsible for the implementation of technology systems to support service delivery, and ensure the required reporting from the systemsImplement standard operating procedures and processesImplement and manage all regional initiatives and programs as detailed by the Regional Facilities Manager.Drive client specific initiatives such as savings targets, benchmarking and best practicesSource, transfer and implement best practices to their areas of responsibility in line with the Global programProvide reporting, standard operating procedures, systems and HR practices in line with the regional consistent approachPrepare country reporting to the satisfaction of the Regional Facilities ManagerDevelop, implement and test in accordance with the contract all Business Continuity Plans for the properties within their remit – Ensuring these are aligned with the Client plansFollow all Health & Safety and Environmental requirements that are defined on work instructions or communicated in trainingFollow required emergency prevention and operational controlsReport all accidents, occupational illnesses and emergencies

Your profile:

Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar roleIn country qualifications in Facilities Management / Engineering will be advantageousExperience in handling client and/or Firm sensitivities’ knowing when to escalate with urgency, or how to de-escalate certain risksHas demonstrated experience in balancing the interests of the client with those of the FirmHas experience in translating client needs into existing or new business growthHas handled a P&LUnderstands Technical Processes and impact on delivery services (SOW)Problem Solving & Strategic ThinkingAbility to connect technical matters with monetary and businessCapacity to deal with ambiguity and solve complex problems effectivelyAnalytical, proven ability to solve problems using an objective approachDemonstrate an ability to look at long term solutionsProject Management & Organizational SkillsDemonstrated people management skills – ability to lead teams effectively, train them well and promote open, constructive and collaborative relationshipsStrong communicator – good presentation skills and possesses strong verbal & written communication skills (English & local language); also an active listener
