Responsibilities Key Accountabilities & Deliverables: Coordinate the management of facilities operations across multiple geographic locations Coordination with internal teams (e.g., SHE, Operations, HR, Finance, Corporate Affairs) and external vendors Develop standards and audits for different types of sites in South Africa and Botswana Coordinate local teams to audit sites and to set action plans for remediation Train site facility resources to monitor and manage site standards to specifications Develop and manage facilities budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting, effective cost control, and alignment with broader business priorities. Oversee capital projects and infrastructure improvements, including office fit-outs, equipment upgrades, ensuring delivery within time and budget constraints. Work with Procurement to manage third-party service providers (e.g., cleaning, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning, waste, security) and ensure contract compliance and service quality through defined SLAs. Support space planning, occupancy management, and workplace optimization to align with evolving business needs, including hybrid work models and growth plans. Provide input on long-term strategic decisions involving site expansion, consolidation, or relocation to ensure facility alignment with organizational goals. Maintain clear and proactive communication with all site stakeholders to ensure alignment on upcoming works, changes, and service impacts. Coordinate between Corporate Affairs, HR and local sites to ensure high standards of visual communication are maintained Liaise with Corporate on annual Human Rights audits Liaise with Corporate on visual identity requirements at sites Qualifications 3 years qualification preferred Minimum 10 years’ experience in Facilities management in similar environment, with at least 7 years’ experience in remote people management and project management. Excellent leadership/coaching skills; continuous improvement mindset; agile and flexible. Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities with a multi-disciplinary team who need to communicate and cooperate to achieve success. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Outstanding leadership skills with a proven record of successfully leading multi-faceted cross-functional teams.
