Facilities Manager

Based – Derby

Hours – 40 Monday to Friday

What this job involves: As a Facilities Manager at JLL Work Dynamics, you'll be at the forefront of shaping a brighter way for our clients and fellow employees across our Rolls-Royce contract in Derby. In this dynamic role, you'll oversee the efficient operation of building systems and services, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and productive environment for all occupants. You'll collaborate with diverse teams, both locally and across our global network, to implement innovative solutions that optimise facility performance and enhance user experience. What your day-to-day will look like:

Build, develop and maintain critical relationships with your key client and customer baseLead the implementation of comprehensive facility management strategies aligned with UK standardsOversee maintenance, repairs, and renovations of building systems and infrastructureManage vendor relationships and contracts to ensure quality service delivery in compliance with UK regulationsConduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues proactivelyImplement sustainability initiatives to reduce energy consumption and environmental impact, supporting UK green targetsCollaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Soft Services and Catering to optimize Workplace ExperienceEnsure compliance with UK health and safety regulations and industry standards

Required Qualifications:

Recognised qualification in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related fieldExperience in facilities management within the UKStrong knowledge of UK building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbingProficiency in facility management software and Microsoft Office suiteExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skillsStrong leadership and team management abilitiesEffective communication and interpersonal skillsExperience with sustainability and energy management initiatives in line with UK standardsKnowledge of smart building technologies and IoT applications in the UK marketFamiliarity with UK-specific project management methodologiesMulti-site facility management experience across various UK regionsProficiency in data analysis and performance metrics reporting
