We are in position to offer a great job opportunity to work as Facilities Manager, based in our Apodaca Plant (Apodaca, Nuevo León, México).
Your Task will be
Develop and implement the master plan for facilities and infrastructure. Manage area budget and lead energy savings and sustainability projects. Oversee preventive, corrective, and predictive facilities programs. Prioritize work plans based on critical equipment and facility needs. Actively participate in internal and external audits. Evaluate, select, and develop service providers (HVAC, Cleaning, Civil works, landscaping, etc.). Monitor contract compliance, service quality, and SLAs. Drive projects focused on energy efficiency, automation, and sustainable infrastructure. Lead, develop, and motivate the facilities team in line with Lear's values: Innovation, teamwork, and results. Promote engagement in safety, wellbeing, and development programs (aligned with local norms NOM 035). Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and company safety policies.To be successful in this role you will need:
Bachelor´s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics or related field. More than 10 years as a facilities or maintenance manager in the automotive electronics industry. Knowledge of maintenance of buildings and general facilities, compressors and hydraulic systems, tanks and pumping systems, electrical substations, industrial lighting systems, construction and civil engineering processes, osmosis systems, voltage management: high, medium, and low voltage, transformers and electrical distribution. Green belt, DMAIC methodology, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001. Proficient with Microsoft Office. Bilingual (Spanish - English). You should have great analytical skills, to be creative/ innovative, to have initiative, to be persistent and open to criticism and others' ideas. Capacity of analysis, communication and organizational skills, strictness in achieving goals/ deadlines, synthesis, and decision abilities.#LI-NA1
