What this job involves:
At JLL, we're seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to lead the delivery of comprehensive facilities management services for our clients. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for ensuring optimal building performance, occupant satisfaction, and operational excellence across managed properties. What your day-to-day will look like:
Lead facilities management operations including maintenance, security, cleaning, and other essential services to ensure safe, functional, and efficient environmentsDevelop and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, reporting, and proactive issue resolutionManage facilities staff and service providers, ensuring compliance with contracts, service level agreements, and performance standardsOversee the facilities budget, including forecasting, cost control, and identifying opportunities for efficiency improvementsImplement and monitor health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure regulatory compliance and occupant wellbeingDirect maintenance programs for building systems and equipment to optimize performance and extend useful lifeLead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery, reduce costs, or improve sustainability performanceRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field5+ years of progressively responsible experience in facilities managementDemonstrated knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and industry standardsStrong leadership skills with experience managing teams and service providersExcellent financial management abilities including budgeting and cost controlProven track record of successful client relationship managementExperience with CAFM/CMMS systems and facilities management softwarePreferred Qualifications:
Professional certification in Facilities Management (CFM, FMP, or equivalent)Experience managing multiple property types or complex facilitiesKnowledge of sustainability practices and energy management in building operationsBackground in project management with relevant certifications (PMP or equivalent)Experience with capital planning and management of improvement projectsUnderstanding of relevant building codes, regulations, and compliance requirementsStrong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decision-makingWhat you can expect from us:
