What this job involves:

As a Facility Manager at JLL, you'll oversee two manufacturing/warehouse locations with a balanced role of 50% hands-on maintenance work and 50% leadership responsibilities. You will establish and maintain a comprehensive facility management program that ensures optimal building operations while developing your team and delivering exceptional service to our clients. This dynamic position combines technical expertise with management skills to maintain building systems, implement efficiency initiatives, and ensure regulatory compliance, all while creating a safe and productive environment for building occupants.

What your day-to-day will look like:Lead and develop on-site personnel, managing team performance and fostering professional growthPerform hands-on maintenance and repair tasks using provided tools and equipmentImplement safety protocols and initiatives to improve awareness and change behaviorsDevelop, track, and document energy conservation and operational efficiency initiativesConduct relationship meetings with clients and manage feedback to ensure satisfactionEnsure timely completion of preventive maintenance schedules for all critical equipmentManage administrative responsibilities using facility management systems and softwareComplete required compliance training and ensure adherence to safety standardsRequired Qualifications:Proven experience in facility management or building operationsStrong technical knowledge of building systems and maintenance proceduresExperience managing teams and evaluating performanceExcellent problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skillsProficiency with work order management systems and Microsoft ExcelKnowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements for manufacturing facilitiesDemonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer serviceUnderstanding of business and accounting practicesPreferred Qualifications:Strong background in electrical systems and/or HVAC operations and maintenanceExperience managing facilities in a manufacturing/warehouse environmentCertification in facility management (CFM, FMP, or related)Experience implementing energy conservation initiatives with documented savingsBackground in life cycle asset managementData analysis skills for tracking and reporting operational metricsProject management experience
