The Facilities Manager will provide leadership and support for assigned company properties and will oversees all aspects of the building functionality. Duties include running routine safety inspections, corresponding with contractors, planning maintenance work, maintaining records and supervising facility staff. The ideal candidate is well-versed in facilities management processes and exhibits high multitasking and organizational abilities.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Experience: Five years related experience
Travel: 25%
Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the day-to-day operation of the local facilitiesExtensive knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, building automation, fire suppression, security, life safety, building and grounds maintenanceSupervise and train facilities staffPrepare yearly budget estimatesParticipate in incident reporting, mitigation and emergency preparednessPlan, schedule, supervise and coordinate maintenance and installation of conventional building infrastructureMaintain accurate and up-to-date files/dataKeep building and all facilities up to code and accurately follow maintenance protocolSkilled in stakeholder management, relationship management and negotiationHigh-level written or oral communicationWorking knowledge of Microsoft OfficeAbility to respond to after-hours/weekend emergenciesLeadership and problem-solving skillsPerform other duties as assigned.The job description and responsibilities described are intended to provide guidelines for job expectations and the employee's ability to perform the position described.
