What this opportunity involves: 

An amazing opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Facilities Management professional to work onsite with one of JLL’s blue-collar client’s, a financial services organisation, based in premium offices in Melbourne's CBD.

This position maintains a focus on facilities management and compliance works for retail banks, with a focus on building and maintaining client relationships while providing excellent service. 

An Overview of the role:  

Support to develop, implement and continuously improve Group Property’s compliance management frameworks and methodologies 

Contribute to fostering a strong workplace culture and provide leadership to the wider team 

Maintain good working relationships within the wider Group Property teams and our support functions 

Effective facilities management including repairs and maintenance, minor capital works, lease management with timely / accurate preparation of reports as required by the role. 

Actively manage and mitigate risks as they arise.  Take ownership and lead the management of emergency property situations where health and safety risks are involved.

Dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service and enjoys building client relationships 

Hands-on approach to problem solving with capability to juggle multiple ongoing tasks 

Ability to work autonomously and as part of a fast-paced team 

Technical Qualifications and/or trade experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulics or fire services. Tertiary qualifications in Facilities Management or related discipline are also highly regarded 

Familiarity with computerised maintenance management systems and have highly developed negotiation, influencing and communication skills 

Demonstrated capability to take initiative and leadership amongst a group and drive change
