Position Overview: 

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at Civeo. This role is responsible for providing high-quality and well-maintained accommodation/facilities to our customers and clients. The Facilities Manager will lead and supervise the Facilities Team to ensure a consistent, quality groundskeeping service, including non-technical maintenance work, grounds maintenance, and garbage collection. 

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 

Promote team performance in line with Civeo operational objectives. 

Manage and motivate Facilities staff, establishing an open, values-based culture. 

Ensure open communication between Facilities and other village teams to provide excellent, timely, and high-standard service. 

Develop rosters and staffing structures to ensure sufficient staff availability at appropriate skill levels. 

Promote a safety culture by providing information, training, instruction, and supervision in managing workplace risks. 

Ensure compliance with all standard operating procedures from both company and statutory perspectives. 

Oversee and complete all minor maintenance (non-trade). 

Formulate and execute site-based waste management plans and grounds management plans. 

Ensure all equipment and tools are adequately maintained and controlled. 

Maintain all agreed health, safety, quality, and environmental accreditations. 

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: 

Relevant trade qualifications. 

LF Forklift Licence. 

Manual Drivers License, Class C. 

At least 3 years’ experience in Facilities Management in a service, hospitality, or similar industry. 

Leading and motivating teams. 

Knowledge of workplace safety systems and compliance. 

Ability to coordinate purchasing, financial, budgetary, and maintenance requirements. 

Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (e.g., JDE). 

Sound knowledge of horticultural practices and processes. 

High level of general physical fitness and strength. 

Basic computer skills, especially Microsoft Office suite. 

Good knowledge of relevant chemicals, their storage, and application.
