he Facilities Maintenance Technician performs general maintenance such as electrical, plumbing, 
carpentry, office furniture assemblies and heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) 
troubleshooting. The Facilities Maintenance Technician repairs, installs, and removes equipment at 
company facilities and will travel daily between company facilities on the assigned campus. 

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician ll, you will be responsible for:

Provide facilities maintenance support such as plumbing, carpentry, door hardware, office
furniture assemblies, minor electrical, minor fabrication, and heating, ventilation, and air
conditioning (HVAC) troubleshootingProvide solutions and operate independently on jobs that are assignedAdvise and research repair methods with team membersEnter work order comments and timecards

To be considered as a Facilities Maintenance Technician ll, you will need:

High school diploma or equivalent level of education3 years of general maintenance experience or equivalent military experienceAble to solve practical problems and diagnose basic plumbing, electrical and equipment malfunctions (such as a tire machine or vehicle hoist)Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measurement, including fractionsReliable transportation to travel between buildingsSkilled in the use of power and hand toolsBasic power and hand tools required, with tool list to be provided upon hireBasic computer skills and good communication skillsGood driving record and reliable transportationGood verbal and written communication skills

A successful candidate may also have:

HVAC troubleshooting experienceMachine repair and troubleshooting experience Skilled in the use of a forklift and scissor liftAbility to work overtime as needed including weekends
