Facilities Maintenance Technician

Broadridge is growing! We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic Production Operations team in El Dorado Hills.

We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed.  This is an on-site role that will be assigned to a Broadridge location where you will work 100% of the time.

Responsibilities

Perform Building inspections and equipment Preventive Maintenance: Conduct assigned inspections and preventive maintenance routes for Facilities maintained equipment, including HVAC, Fire/Life/Safety, Humidification, Mechanical, Recycle, Lighting, High- Speed Doors, and Plumbing systemsManage Light Bulb Disposal and Recycling program Perform Building Inspections and Scheduled Maintenance/Repairs: Carry out assigned inspections and preventive maintenance and/or repairs for building structure, such as roofs, parking lots, truck gates, docks, high-speed rollup doors and dock lifts Assist with Critical Preventative Maintenance: Support all critical preventive maintenance services for building infrastructure and operations support, including HVAC, Fire/Life/Safety, Humidification, Mechanical, Recycle, Lighting, and Plumbing systems  Maintain Facilities Department Support Equipment: Ensure the upkeep of support equipment, such as aerial lifts, portable emergency generators, and tools Perform Monthly fire extinguishers inspectionCoordinate annual Fire Extinguisher recertification with support vendorPerform monthly inspections of emergency lights, fire/domestic water lines

Administrative Responsibilities

Manage Assigned Facilities Maintenance workorders in MicroMain, ensuring workorders are being completed within scheduled timelines and are closed upon completionCreate new MicroMain on-demand workorders for identified service repairsComply with day-to-day department and site policies, procedures, programs, and workplace services (includes Security, HS&E, HR)  Maintain Departmental Records and Reports based on Broadridge records and retention policy: Monthly Safety Training, Preventative Maintenance reports, Fire/Life/Safety reports, Site inspections logs etc.

Finance Responsibilities

Identify and maintain cost savings records on all services preformed in-house vs. outsource laborImplement cost savings through applying best pricing practices for required maintenance supplies and services Provide building escorts to vendors as requiredVerify vendors are meeting site requirements (badge access, following site policies, professionalism etc.)

Qualifications

Min. 3 years maintenance experience consisting of general knowledge of the practices, methods, tools and equipment used in general equipment maintenance work; general knowledge of occupational hazards and necessary safety precautions associated with work.High School or equivalent or Technical/Trade SchoolSome knowledge of methods, tools and equipment of standard building tradesAbility to interpret technical bulletins and schematics on equipment related to assigned areaGeneral Computer skills, Microsoft Office toolsAttention to detailGood oral and written communication skillsAbility to take directions and to work under pressure due to time constraints as necessaryAbility to stand and work throughout duration of assigned shiftAbility to lift, carry and move 25+ lbs throughout duration of assigned shift

Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is $19.84- $30.75 USD Hourly - Bonus Eligible
