**Job Title: Lead Facilities Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Facilities Technician to join our team in the greater Nashville area. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing a variety of issues within properties, ensuring that facilities are maintained to the highest standard.
**Responsibilities**
+ Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and electrical issues.
+ Perform repairs such as fixing leaking faucets, repairing sliding doors, and replacing dumpster doors.
+ Maintain a preventive maintenance schedule to ensure the longevity of facility systems.
+ Interact with customers and clients regularly, providing excellent service and maintaining a friendly demeanor.
+ Use an app to track and manage work orders, determining whether repairs can be handled personally or require a contractor.
+ Observe properties for additional repair needs while on-site and address them as necessary.
+ Lead and potentially mentor another maintenance technician.
**Essential Skills**
+ At least 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance.
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing minor electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC issues.
+ Strong carpentry, maintenance repair, and installation skills.
+ Ability to effectively manage and complete work orders using a mobile app.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience repairing and installing HVAC systems is a plus.
+ Leadership experience and ability to mentor junior technicians.
+ Basic knowledge of AC systems, including part identification.
+ Self-starter with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

**Work Environment**
The role involves working Monday through Friday with 8-hour days. Technicians use a mobile app to receive and manage work orders, reporting to the shop at the start of each day. The work involves traveling between properties to address maintenance issues, with a focus on self-sufficiency and efficient problem-solving. While personal vehicles are used initially, a company truck will be provided upon permanent placement. The dress code is casual yet professional, suitable for interacting with customers and performing physical tasks.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, Tennessee.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.
