Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Facilities Maintenance Technicians for projects located in Durham, NC. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $30/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Perform interior and exterior painting, power washing, and drywall repairs
Maintain and repair bay doors, sliding doors, door bumpers, and seals
Service commissary carts, speed racks, and pallet jacks (fluids, chains, castors)
Replace outlet protectors and reattach conduit piping
Assemble furniture, storage racks, and light equipment
Conduct minor plumbing repairs as needed
Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety guidelines
Proactively communicate any repair needs or site concerns
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in general commercial maintenance or handyman workComfortable using power tools and standard maintenance equipment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift
Must have basic hand tools and standard PPE
OSHA 10 and/or basic mechanical certifications preferred
Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic are essential
