Facilities Maintenance Technician – Second Shift (Temp to Perm)
Location: Cleveland, OH
Schedule: Wednesday to Sunday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Pay Rate: $40.68/hour

We’re hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support critical building operations at a commercial facility in Cleveland, OH. This is a second-shift position with a strong temp-to-perm opportunity for a skilled maintenance professional who’s ready to contribute on day one.

Position Overview:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a wide range of facility systems. You’ll demonstrate expertise in at least one trade — such as Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, or Central Utility Plant Operations — and support other disciplines as needed to complete weekly assignments.

Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance and repairs on Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems

Carry out preventive maintenance, maintain inventory, and oversee contracted maintenance

Clean, inspect, calibrate, and replace parts to ensure peak HVAC system performance

Record readings and make necessary adjustments to equipment

Ensure safe storage and disposal of hazardous materials and maintain a clean, safe workspace

Conduct regular tool and instrument inventory checks

Review and monitor work performed by external contractors

Follow all safety procedures and identify potential hazards

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

5–7 years of experience in commercial facilities maintenance

Hands-on experience with Commercial or Industrial Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems

Ability to identify issues, troubleshoot systems, and perform corrective repairs

EPA 608 Type II Certification required (Universal preferred)

Comfortable using computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel

Preferred:

EPA 608 Universal Certification

Two years of technical school or trade training in electrical systems, HVAC, or refrigeration

Pay Details: $40.68 per hour
