Job Title: HVAC Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Maintenance Technician to perform both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of HVAC units, chiller systems, and more. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various facilities including plumbing, mechanical, electrical, heating, and cooling systems.

ResponsibilitiesConduct preventative maintenance inspections and perform required maintenance duties.Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide variety of facilities systems.Perform minor repairs to automation or environmental controls as needed.Write procedures and checklists, and assist in training maintenance staff.Work with engineers to update and maintain SOPs and documentation.Operate, adjust, and repair boilers, heating controls, and air distribution systems.Recondition and install new parts on complex mechanical equipment.Operate and perform repairs on building and facility equipment including UPW, mechanical, electrical, heating and cooling systems, fixtures, and systems.Essential SkillsStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Experience in HVAC, mechanical, electrical, field service, and facilities maintenance.Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical systems, plumbing, and hydraulics.Ability to conduct preventive maintenance and building maintenance.Additional Skills & QualificationsTechnical military or semiconductor experience is beneficial.Comfortable being on call during weekends for emergencies.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work onsite at a large, clean, and modern facility alongside a team of 2-3 technicians. The role requires collaboration and teamwork in a pleasant work environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hillsboro, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $38.00/hr.
