The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Solutions Real Estate team: As a Senior Facilities Maintenance team member, duties will include planning and performing maintenance work orders and providing technical/repair assistance to production floor technicians as required. Responsibilities will also include inputting and extracting data from the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). This position is an on-site role, and the selected candidate would need to be located within reasonable commuting distance of the RTX Dine' facility as this position does not offer relocation. **** Please Note:** This position is located at the Raytheon Diné Facility in Farmington, NM. RTX- Diné Facility adheres to the Navajo Nation Preference in Employment Act in areas of recruitment and hiring practices. **What You Will do:** We are seeking a Highly Experienced Licensed HVAC Technician to join our team, contributing to the reliability and safety of our critical infrastructure. The Licensed HVAC Technician will be a key member of the Facilities Maintenance Team, responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of all HVAC assets at our missile defense production facility. This role involves performing preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and general facilities maintenance duties across the facility to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems and other infrastructure assets. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional with extensive experience in HVAC systems and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. **Key Responsibilities:** + Perform preventative maintenance on all assets onsite to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan, with a focus on HVAC assets including chillers, air handlers, heating systems, and ventilation units + Facilities Maintenance: Perform general facilities maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, groundskeeping, snow removal and mechanical repairs, as part of the Facilities Maintenance Team. + Ensure all work complies with federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA standards, EPA guidelines, and industry best practices to ensure a safe & compliant work environment. + Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inspections in Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure audit compliance. + Recommend and implement upgrades or modifications to HVAC systems to improve energy efficiency and performance, aligning with sustainability goals. + Troubleshoot, repair, and replace malfunctioning equipment and systems related to building infrastructure and manufacturing/production. + Collaborate with other maintenance staff, production teams, and external vendors to complete complex repair and maintenance tasks. + Assist with the installation, rearrangement, and upgrades of facility equipment, machinery, and systems. + Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, facility policies, and industry regulations, including those specific to defense manufacturing. + Equipment and assets requiring maintenance include but are not limited to - air compressors and compressed air systems, air handlers, chilled water systems, comfort air chillers, boilers, pumps, generators, emergency lighting systems, fire suppression systems, production equipment, workstations, and overall grounds maintenance including snow removal. **Qualifications You Must Have:** + This role requires a valid New Mexico HVAC Journeyman or Contractor License (e.g., MM-2 or MM-98) and an EPA Universal Certification (Section 608) certification for handling refrigerants. + Minimum of 5 years of experience as a licensed HVAC technician, with at least 3 years in an industrial or manufacturing environment. + At least 3 years’ experience with and knowledge of safety codes and regulations, particularly in a manufacturing or defense production environment. + At least 5 years’ experience maintaining and repairing complex HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, VAV systems, VFDs, and controls (e.g., Metasys BMS, DDC) and a deep understanding of Reliability Engineering and Preventative Maintenance schedules. + At least 3 years’ experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems and familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs. + Current and valid driver's license **Qualifications We Prefer:** + Experience in missile defense, aerospace, or similar high-security facilities is a plus. + Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex systems quickly and efficiently. + Certifications: Additional certifications (e.g., NATE, OSHA 10/30) are highly desirable. + Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. + Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with minimal supervision. + Willingness to work a set schedule and be on call as needed after business hours. + Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English + Computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, MS Word, etc) + Ability to understand & use HVAC Building Management System (BMS) software such as Metasys to make adjustments as needed to automated HVAC operations. **What We Offer** Whether you’re just starting out on your career journey or are an experienced professional, we offer a robust total rewards package with compensation; healthcare, wellness, retirement and work/life benefits; career development and recognition programs.
