This is a full-time Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. position with HHS. The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator will oversee all grounds work including mowing, snow removal, weed eating, trail cleaning, tree removal, stump grinding, and all other grounds maintenance activities. This position will communicate work needs with staff, distribute the workload, and be able to operate heavy equipment such as tractors, snow removal equipment, mowers, etc. to landscape the grounds. The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator will perform maintenance and minor repairs on equipment used at the facility, prepare and maintain records of grounds work, advise the supervisor of materials and equipment inventory status, and report additional supplies needed. Applicants will be required to complete a background check to be considered for this position. CMHI provides active inpatient treatment to adults in need of acute psychiatric care. The facility offers several services includingindividualized treatment plans. Support for patients with special education needs to continue their education is provided, and individuals are encouraged to collaborate with staff members in formulating their own plan.
