Facilities Events/Office Lead
**Overview** The **Facilities Office Lead** is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of facilities and office management activities. This role encompasses maintaining and overseeing all aspects of the physical workplace, including office space, equipment, and services, to ensure a productive and safe work environment for employees throughout the Bay Area. **Pay** : $42.00/hr The pay listed is the hourly range for this position. For information about ABM’s benefits, visit_ ABM 2025 Employee Benefits | Staff & Management (https://www.abm.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/ABM\_2025\_Employee\_Benefits\_Staff\_&\_Management\_No%20Date%209.5.24.pdf) **Key Responsibilities** + Provide a high quality of service to the customers + Oversee the day-to-day operations of soft services including janitorial, reception/security and warehouse + Address customer inquiries and complaints professionally and promptly + Aim to improve customer satisfaction through responsive service delivery + Work closely with various departments to understand and meet their service requirements + Coordinates Facility Site Service activities to support campus activities, conference room meeting setups, campus events and facility programs to ensure alignment and positive impact with customers and business functions + Conduct daily walkthroughs of the building to inspect, identify, and address any maintenance, safety, or compliance issues. + Partners with the maintenance department the upkeep, maintenance, and repair of office infrastructure and equipment. + Manage relationships with contractors and service providers, ensuring high-quality service delivery and cost-effectiveness. + Coordinate office space allocation and workspace optimization to accommodate staff needs and operational efficiency. + Partners with Safety to ensure the workplace complies with health and safety regulations and security measures. + Co-Manage the site facilities budget, including forecasting and tracking expenditures. + Manage office supplies inventory, place orders, and ensure adequate stock levels. + Provide administrative support to the management team as needed. + Based on observations and customer feedback, is responsible for identifying opportunities for improvement, raising ideas, soliciting support and resources as well as driving implementation for changes where appropriate + Other duties as assigned by management. **Requirements** + Basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems + Ability to use the internet for research navigating basic office equipment and protocols experience + Comprehensive knowledge of Administrative Assistance + Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company + Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment while providing superior service levels \ Event schedule to support for event set ups **Qualifications** + Capacity to multitask while able to see tasks to completion. + The ideal candidate has strong people skills and is customer service oriented. + Prior administrative experience is preferred but not required. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. + Self-motivated, organized and detail oriented. + Computer skills: Google sheets, Excel, Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, etc. + Good verbal and written communication skills. + Works well in a team environment. + Approachable yet professional. + Punctual and dependable. + High School diploma required.
