Job Responsibilities:
General Job Duties:

Assist in planning and designing layouts for facility infrastructure, including equipment placement and utilities routing.Create and revise CAD drawings using AutoCAD or similar software for facility modifications and project documentation.Support the engineering team in conducting facility assessments and recommending improvements.Participate in project planning meetings and help track milestones, schedules, and deliverables.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, operations, and safety.Perform data analysis and prepare reports on facility performance and project progress.Assist with Sustainability initiatives, coordinate meetings, and help to keep data updated.Skills and Experience Required:2+ years of college coursework completed, ideally at the junior or senior level.Experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Brics CAD) is required.Exposure to or coursework in project management or operations planning is a plus.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Must have a valid driver’s license.Education:Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Awareness, Unity, Empowerment:At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
