Facilities Engineer
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Facilities & Maintenance Management

Plan, direct, and control preventive and corrective maintenance of all plant equipment and infrastructure. Supervise daily operations of maintenance technicians, janitorial staff, and contractors. Ensure availability of tools, spare parts, and services for uninterrupted operations. Maintain safety devices and ensure all machinery complies with operational and safety standards. Oversee building and grounds maintenance, including cleaning and utilities.

Project Management

Lead capital and operational projects including facility expansions, equipment installations, and process improvements. Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, EHS, procurement) to ensure project success. Apply structured project management methodologies (e.g., Stage Gate, RTP) for execution and validation. Track and report on project milestones, financials, and performance metrics. Manage change control processes to address adjustments in scope or requirements while maintaining alignment with program objectives. Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders on project progress, financial performance, and key milestones. Foster alignment, transparency, and engagement from all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

Safety & Compliance

Enforce safety policies and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and contractor safety protocols. Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with local and corporate safety regulations. Evaluate and approve contractor work, ensuring alignment with safety and quality expectations.

Continuous Improvement

Analyze maintenance reports to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Propose and implement improvements through the Business Improvement Proposals (BIP) system. Support quality system initiatives and participate in audits and inspections.   For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor’s degree in  Civil, Electromechanical, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering. Minimum 5 years in facilities or maintenance engineering, with direct supervision experience. 5+ years managing complex engineering or manufacturing projects. Experience in preventive maintenance program development and execution. Familiarity with safety systems, regulatory compliance, and contractor management. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project) and financial tracking. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Bilingual (Spanish/English).

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
