Facilities Engineer

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering At least 5 years of relevant maintenance or process engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.  Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience High Pressure Vessels, Heat treating process or Industrial Furnaces Experience With Confined Space Entry, Fall Protection systems and other Safety Programs  PLC and automation systems troubleshooting (e.g., Allen-Bradley) Knowledge of NFPA 70E, OSHA, and other relevant safety codes  Maintenance or reliability certification (e.g., CMRP, CMRT, Six Sigma)

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Maintenance Engineer to support our HIP manufacturing and processing operations by driving equipment reliability, optimizing preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting complex technical issues. 

This role requires strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work cross-functionally with production, scheduling, safety, and other engineering teams to ensure maximum equipment uptime and operational efficiency with an emphasis on delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Initiate, implement, and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs within our HIP operations Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control issues to minimize downtime Analyze chronic equipment failures and lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards   Partner with production teams to improve equipment performance and reliability  Assist in the planning and execution of capital projects and equipment upgrade Develop and maintain maintenance documentation, including AI’s, equipment manuals, and CMMS records Train and assist union skill trades on repairs, use of equipment and best practices Support spare parts inventory management and vendor relations
