About the role: The facilities Engineer position performs a wide range of general and specialized critical infrastructure duties including preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and component replacements. It also provides technical and operational support of equipment including: HVAC units, UPS systems, ATS and parallel switch gear, generators, fire detection and extinguishing systems, alarm systems, pumps, valves, etc. Hardware planning and engineering duties are also performed.
About the team; This team preforms period maintained on 400+ machines and services needed to keep this location up and running
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 1 or more years of facilities maintenance/engineering experience
• Technical degree, certified industry training, or vocational training or equivalent experience
• CFC certification a plus
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
• Working knowledge of facilities equipment (HVAC units, UPS systems, ATS and parallel switch gear, generators, etc.).
• Ability to perform testing, maintenance, and repairs on facilities equipment.
• Strong judgment/decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to use a wide variety of power and manual tools.
• Knowledge and practice of good safety practices.
• Ability to work effectively with various mechanical and construction contractors.
