Facilities Electrical Coordinator

This role involves coordinating activities related to electrical distribution (up to 35kV), emergency generators, voltage sag mitigation, UPS systems, and power quality infrastructure. The coordinator ensures seamless operations by managing asset maintenance, system upgrades, and new equipment installations, while serving as the primary liaison between Micron and external service vendors. **Responsibilities:** + Lead commissioning efforts for new fabrication facilities and support ongoing operations. + Coordinate distribution-level switching to facilitate maintenance and system modifications. + Serve as the main point of contact for outsourced service vendors, ensuring quality and operational standards are upheld. + Collaborate closely with operations teams to ensure reliable system performance. + Adhere to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. + Manage multiple priorities effectively with strong organizational and time-management skills. + Communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely to various team members. + Facilitate meetings and project teams to drive initiatives and resolve issues. + Identify and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency. + Demonstrate strong teamwork, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills. + Apply data extraction and analysis techniques to support decision-making and reporting. **Minimum Requirements:** + Associate degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering or a related field and at least or relevant certifications/licensing. + 2+ years of electrical maintenance experience. + 2+ years’ experience working with high-voltage electrical systems in a manufacturing or industrial setting. **Preferred Requirements:** + Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. + 4+ years of electrical maintenance experience. + 4+ years Experience working with high-voltage electrical systems in a manufacturing or industrial setting. + Familiarity with commissioning processes and electrical distribution systems. + Strong understanding of power quality systems and emergency power infrastructure.
