Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Drafting Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for updating and reconciling GMP drawing sets, supporting remediation efforts, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Your expertise in drafting and CAD technology will be instrumental in improving processes and documentation related to engineering and maintenance.
ResponsibilitiesReconcile GMP drawing sets with EAM Room numbers and descriptions, updating drawings as necessary.Support remediation of Engineering Change Management (ECM) gaps by processing drawing updates and changes.Ensure quality compliance of validated systems, including INFOR EAM and EDMS.Resolve findings from an Engineering & Maintenance infrastructure and utilities assessment.Review mechanical and manufacturing documentation and drawings.Create action plans to address findings and complete required tasks.Complete and update drawings and schematics to meet quality and regulatory requirements.Track and report the number of documents updated and changed.Identify additional gaps or areas for improvement and report findings.Implement process improvements and documentation for assets and procedures.Update processes and documents for current systems related to maintenance, facilities, engineering, and biomanufacturing.Essential SkillsAssociate degree or certification in Drafting, CAD Technology, Architecture, or a related field.Proficiency with AutoCAD 2023.At least 2 years of experience in a facilities or architectural drafting role.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.Familiarity with building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and construction terminology.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Revit, BIM, or other CAD software is a plus.Self-starter with a go-getter attitude.Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
