Position Overview:Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm

The Custodial Breakroom Associate is responsible for cleaning the breakroom tables and countertops on a routine basis as needed. Some of the duties include, but are not limited to, making coffee, filling supplies, and keeping all appliances clean inside and out, and prepping for meetings as scheduled. In addition, the associate's duties will include cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping floors, emptying/cleaning wastebaskets, and wiping down work areas.  Performs related duties as required and assigned.

This is considered an essential on-site role, which requires regular on-site attendance.

Responsibilities:

Preparing coffee/hot water, keeping carafes full • Keep break room areas neat and clean throughout the day 

Daily wiping down of microwaves, refrigerators and freezers 

Daily restocking of supplies (i.e. napkins)

Dishwashing by hand (dishes, cup holders, utensils etc.) 

Delivering beverages or other items to meeting rooms as necessary 

Setting up, breaking down and hand washing dishes after scheduled luncheons or dinners as necessary 

Straightening/cleaning of all break rooms as necessary 

Participates in staff meetings, training and in-services and staff development programs as required by the Manager, Corporate Security and Internal Retail Services

Duties will include but not limited too, dusting, vacuuming, wiping down furniture, cleaning bathrooms, meeting rooms. 

Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.

Collect trash throughout the facility and transport to proper location 

Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, etc.

Other duties as assigned including but not limited to possible reallocation of efforts to other organizations per business need and management request.

Education:

High School diploma|GED or applicable experience

Preferred - Two Year Degree in Business or similar area of study or equivalent, relevant work experience

Physical Requirements:

Able to twist or bend and occasionally climb stairs 

Able to reach with hands and arms above shoulder level

Spend the majority of working hours walking/standing on concrete

Regularly lift up to 35 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50lbs from floor to shoulder height

Generally, spend the workday performing repetitive motions that involve or affect the hands, head, and other parts of your body 

Compensation:

The starting base pay rate for this position is:

$18.00
