Facilities Assistant
Description We are looking for a Facilities Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Clayton, Missouri. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities, including conference rooms and other shared spaces. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to managing tasks efficiently. Responsibilities: • Oversee the scheduling and maintenance of conference rooms to ensure they are fully functional and prepared for meetings. • Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track and manage maintenance tasks and schedules. • Coordinate with the Facilities Coordinator to address operational needs and ensure seamless communication. • Perform routine inspections of facilities to identify and resolve any maintenance issues. • Assist with Kronos timekeeping system tasks to track and manage employee hours accurately. • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency. • Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely completion of repair and maintenance projects. • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and service requests for reporting purposes. • Enforce compliance with safety standards and protocols within all facilities. • Provide support for special projects and initiatives related to facilities management. Requirements • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking and scheduling maintenance tasks. • Knowledge of conference room operations and scheduling. • Familiarity with the Kronos timekeeping system is preferred. • Proven ability to work collaboratively with teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying solutions. • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks. • Previous experience in facilities coordination or a related role is a plus.
