Job Description SummaryThe Facility Manager will supervise the activities of all C&W Services Facility group employees and outside contractors. This individual will also ensure that all facility services are provided cost-effectively and adequately.Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

Pay: $85,000.Direct and develop subordinates to produce professional results and quality of an efficient Facility Management organization.Manage the facility budgeting process to ensure appropriate and timely preparation.  Work with established constraints and facility conditions and report on variances when applicable.Direct the daily activities of all C&W SERVICE facility groups as well as subcontractors.Establish and maintain effective lines of communication with the customer and facility personnel regarding work schedules and the distribution and coordination of materials in these facilities.Ensure that all facilities under their responsibility are safe and comply with all federal, state, and local laws.Ensure that environmental procedures and issues are implemented through the direction of the customer’s environmental specialist representative.Work with the customer-designated representative in implementing cost-saving procedures and the formation of budgets and reports.Ensure that all work performed under their supervision is done in a timely and cost-effective manner according to the applicable codes.Interface with customer management personnel to ascertain that their needs and requirements as related to the facility management contract are being satisfied.Organize and develop short and long-term goals and objectives.Develop, implement, administer, and modify programs to maintain all physical plant, grounds, equipment, warehousing, and mail operations.Establish, implement, and adhere to policies and procedures for facility operations, including a preventive maintenance program, equipment replacement, quality assurance, and safety.Oversee the status of practices, policies, and procedures as needed to remain in compliance with standards, requirements, and regulations of regulatory agencies, national, state, and local electrical, building, and plumbing codes.Negotiate or review service and maintenance contracts.Monitor all department records, reports, statistics, and facilities.Develop an annual operating and capital budget for all facilities.Self-perform repairs and inspections of facilities as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor's degree or Technical School in a related field or equivalent in experience.  8 to 10 years of industry experience with 2-4 years in a supervisory role in a maintenance environment. Knowledge of facilities management and support industry procedures, equipment, and best practices.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Proficiency with MS Office.Proficient using CMMS applications (SAP, MAXIMO).Scheduling flexibility - Occasional night and weekend coverage required.Ability to lift 50 pounds.Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and capable of extensive bending, stooping, stretching, pushing, and carrying.The ability to work in an environment with exposure to extreme weather, dust, chemicals, and loud noises.
