What You'll Do as a Fabricator - TIG/MIG Welder:

Perform 85% TIG and 15% MIG welding on stainless steel.Weld in all positions: vertical, horizontal, and overheadSet up and operate welding equipment with correct voltage, amperage, and feed ratesInterpret engineering drawings and welding symbolsWork independently with a strong focus on quality and precisionOperate grinders, die cutters, drills, plasma cutters, and other fabrication toolsPerform layout work, mark weld points, and use measuring instruments for tight tolerancesMaintain high-pressure weld integrity on a variety of complex parts and assembliesRequires ability to pass a welding test

Solid TIG welding skills with MIG welding experienceAbility to read blueprints and follow welding symbolsExperience using jigs, fixtures, and hand toolsFamiliarity with fabricating equipment and non-destructive weld testingStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality standardsSelf-motivated – can work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to pass a welding test & provide your own hat and gloves
