As a Fabricator at Caterpillar Inc., you will set up, operate and adjust metalworking machines. You will utilize punch presses, manual fixtures, automatic shears, benders, presses, multiple torches, and automatic burners.* Sets up, operates and adjusts manual metalworking machines such as punch presses, manual fixtures, shears, benders, presses * Operates grinders, sanders or other metal prepration equipment. Required Qualifications * Able to follow customer requirements, maintaining a high level of skill. * Able to fully understand Engineering drawings. * Basic knowledge in the use of measuring equipment and gauging. * The ability to read, comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions/standard work procedures. * The ability to work closely with others is imperative, requiring team participation to achieve the agreed objectives.
