Job Responsibilities:

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Maintenance Projects Engineer the fabricator will be responsible for planning and executing repairs on current equipment and support projects for improving the working environment.

Role Responsibilities:

The role entails but is not limited to:

To work with the maintenance department on repairsTo work cross functionally on projects and improvementWeld and repair guarding and platformsService and repair material handling equipment and trolleysTo work with contractors on repairsTo work with contractors on projectsTo design and analyse different repair and project options for their meritsPromote the companies HSE policies across the department and plant and adhere to all Health and Safety environmental requirements

EXPERIENCE :

Essential

Experience in a similar roleExperience in fabrication of multi metal componentsMIG Welding

Desirable

Craft apprenticeship or similarCity & Guilds or similar qualification in weldingExperience in multi welding applicationsAbility to understand drawings and specificationsTIG WeldingWorking within time constraints and good project planning skillsGood 5S
