Hiring for a Fabrication Technician in Meriden, CT!

Job Description

Execute work orders to process and fabricate germanium and silicon-based crystals into functional radiation detection diodes. The role involves handling acids and other chemicals, as well as using and performing routine maintenance of evaporators, sputtering machines, and other systems.

Manufacturing facility with shop floors. The environment includes handling of acids and other chemicals, and working with evaporators, sputtering machines, ion implanters, and vacuum deposition equipment. There are opportunities for progression to a Level II Technician within 1-2 years based on performance, and potential for further advancement to a lead role focusing on troubleshooting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
