Fabrication Team leader 

Trimax Mowing Systems is a family-owned company that designs, develops, manufactures and distributes tractor-powered roller mower and flail mowing equipment. We are looking for an effective Fabrication Team leader to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Fayetteville, Georgia.

The Role
 

Lead and Motivate
a team of capable fabricators, Promoting a culture of safety and quality.  Ensure daily production schedules are met without compromising quality.  Allocate tasks efficiently across the team, ensuring an ideal use of skills and resources.  Drive continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and implementing solutions.  Collaborate across departments to minimize delays and ensure efficiency. 

 

Skills and experience required 

3-5 years of experience in mild steel fabrication, ideally in a production environment  Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate a small production team on the shop floor.  Skilled at reading job schedules, assigning tasks, and managing daily priorities.  Strong communicator with a positive attitude and a focus on safety, quality, and results. 

Physical Requirements: 

Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and parts, often weighing up to 50-75 pounds.  Capable of performing physically demanding tasks such as pushing, pulling, and maneuvering large equipment.
