Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a FABRICATION SUPERVISOR (TITLE 32), Position Description Number NGD0789000 and is part of the TN 134th ARW Air National Guard. This vacancy is not eligible for membership to a labor organization. This announcement is a dual bid with AGR Announcement A25-065, only one selection will be made. Responsibilities As a FABRICATION SUPERVISOR, WS-3401-10 (TITLE 32), you will plan weekly or monthly work schedules and sequence of operations. Assign tasks to be performed. Recommend and participate in the selection of personnel to fill vacancies. Schedules and approves leave of subordinates. Perform the nonsupervisory work of the function as needed. Implement safety regulatory requirements. subordinates wear appropriate safety equipment and follow safety precautions. Prepare for and participate in various types of readiness evaluations, inspections, mobilization and command support exercises. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Military Grades: E-7 through E-8 Compatible Military Assignments: 2AXXX GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have experience or training which demonstrates that the candidate has the ability to organize assignments for subordinates, estimate material and manpower needed for specific jobs. Able to explain manuals and work procedures; and to prepare production records, work records and reports. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: In addition to the journeyman level knowledge, you must have 36 months of experience which demonstrates the ability to plan, direct, and organize work assignments for lower grade personnel. Experience which required the review of work requirements and establish priorities to meet deadlines. Experience that provided knowledge of various lines of work performed by this function. Experience which demonstrates the ability to supervise or the potential to perform such duties as evidenced by the ability to communicate knowledge of general supervisory concepts, and knowledge of shop processes. Experience in adapting existing equipment and techniques to new situations. Education Education Requirement: High School Diploma/GED Substitution of Education to qualify for this position is not available.
