Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking an Associate Fabrication Specialist tojoin the Manufacturing Support Team (Machine Shop), located in North Charleston, South Carolina on 2nd shift.

Position Responsibilities:

Follows detailed verbal and/or written instructions, reads and interprets moderately complex blueprint drawings and specifications to set-up and machine items to fabricate out of sequence emergent production parts and fillers as required using manual and CNC machinesDevelops and revises Machine Control Data (MCD) and geometryAssists other machinists in completing job responsibilitiesPerforms machine set-up, machining, deburring and fabrication tasksWorks on articles of limited complexity following established drawings and requirementsMaintains all necessary certifications to perform the job

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

1+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or ManufacturingMust be able to work any shiftAbility to lift to 35 lbs – this role requires frequent lifting up to 10 lbs, occasional carrying, lifting, pushing/pulling, walking, standing, balancing, frequent reaching overhead and at or above shoulder, frequent sitting

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

1+ years of CNC experience1+ years of experience with the 787 Program1+ years of experience with systems to perform work (SOS, CMES, Velocity, REDARS)1+ years of experience in a team environment1+ years of experience in a role with Team Leadership (Formal/Informal)

Summary Pay Range: $49,500 - $60,500
