Fabrication Shop Assistant

Job Summary:  

Tucker Mechanical, Inc. is looking for a dedicated individual to fill the role of Fab Shop Assistant. This position is responsible for supporting the daily fabrication shop needs and delivery operations of Tucker Mechanical.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Clean and organize tool crib Clean handrails and doorknobs Make a spread sheet for what to clean each day Clean eye wash and first aid area Clean windows in break room and office Clean saw, forklift, inside lull and windows, inside weld trucks and shop truck Clean break room windows and everything in the breakroom Make a list of equipment to be wiped down (groover, saw, drill press, geka, all welding machines, sub arc) Make a list of weld booths to be cleaned (gantry, tracks weld curtains, etc) Pull chocks out of wood Organize the two sling areas Organize/put items in their proper location in misc areas such as hardware rack, small bore pipe racks and tool crib Put away deliveries such as coffee, paper towels, coffee accessories, etc. Comply with all Company operating policies, procedures, OSHA, and safety programs as established.
