Fabrication and Welding Inspector
MAU is hiring a Fabrication and Welding Inspector for our client in Rosedale, MS. As a Fabrication and Welding Inspector, you will inspect welded structural steel components to ensure compliance with AWS D1.1 codes and quality standards. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Benefits Package 401(k) retirement savings plan Health insurance Dental insurance Shift Information Monday–Thursday | 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM with occasional overtime on Fridays as needed Training Shift: Monday–Thursday | 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM Required Education and Experience 3+ years of experience as a Fabrication & Welding Inspector in a manufacturing environment Preferred Education and Experience Certified Welding Inspector (CWI D1.1) credential General Requirements In-depth knowledge of welding processes, techniques, and materials Familiarity with AWS D1.1 and other relevant industry codes and standards Proficiency in interpreting fabrication shop drawings and specifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills Essential Functions Conduct visual inspections of welded joints to ensure compliance with AWS D1.1 codes, standards, and project specifications Utilize non-destructive testing (NDT) methods, such as ultrasonic and magnetic particle testing, to identify potential defects or discontinuities in welds Maintain detailed and accurate records of inspection results Ensure welding processes adhere to applicable codes and customer requirements Provide guidance to production personnel to address non-compliance issues and implement corrective actions Collaborate with production teams to resolve fabrication-related issues promptly Stay current on industry trends, codes, and regulations to improve the inspection process Working Conditions Manufacturing environment specializing in structural steel fabrication
