**Job Description** Based in Patuxent River, Maryland this role is part of BAE Systems Inc, Air Force Solutions, F35 program. The role requires an element of business travel within the US and overseas, including deployments and detachment to remote work locations on land and at sea. The candidate will interface directly with Industry & Military partners and customers. The senior FTE role will support the Flight Test integration across the program to include development and reporting across the organization to ensure compliance with business and contractual requirements. The role will apply existing flight test engineering leadership and expertise to plan, coordinate and execute a highly complex and interdependent Developmental Flight Test Program for the F35 aircraft. The candidate will ensure an integrated, efficient and safe flight test program is delivered for the Short Take-Off and Vertical Landing (STOVL) and Carrier Variant (CV) aircraft. This role is a key position within the F35 project team which will be responsible for the delivery of a complex flight test program. The role requires the holder to contribute to the continued development of the F35, in conjunction with Lockheed Martin to deliver a 5th generation combat aircraft. The role holder will possess broad knowledge of flight test principles and practices and integrate with other engineering disciplines. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience. **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** Bachelor's Degree and 10 years work experience or equivalent experience and experience leading a team while providing onsite customer support. **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $130355 - $221603 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
