A Food & Beverage Sales Manager for bars and restaurants is responsible for driving revenue and maximizing sales within the F&B outlets, while also building and maintaining strong customer relationships. This involves identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.
What will I be doing?
The Food & Beverage Sales Manager will lead sales efforts, build and maintain customer relationships and implement strategic sales plans to drive business growth. Will be specifically responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
· Revenue Generation: Achieving sales targets for bars and restaurants, including individual outlets, special \t\tevents, and private gatherings.
· Relationship Building: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, both new and existing, to foster repeat business and encourage future sales.
· Sales Strategy: Developing and implementing sales strategies to maximize revenue, including targeted promotions, special events, and new market expansion.
· Client Interaction: Conducting regular site visits, sales calls, and client entertainment activities to build rapport and present the unique selling points of the F&B outlets.
· Negotiation & Contract Management: Negotiating contracts with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
· Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Working closely with other departments, such as sales and marketing, food & beverage and kitchen teams, to ensure seamless operations and a positive guest experience.
· Market Research & Analysis: Conducting market research to identify potential new business opportunities, trends, and competitor strategies.
· Customer Service: Ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction through excellent service, attention to detail, and responsiveness to inquiries.
· Data Tracking and Reporting: Monitoring sales performance, tracking key metrics, and providing regular reports to management.
Work Experience
· Strong sales and negotiation skills: Proven ability to build relationships, close deals, and secure contracts.
· Enterprising: Should be resourceful to activate events and get-togethers in the hotel.
· Knowledge of F&B operations: Understanding of restaurant and bar operations, including menus, pricing, and service standards.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
· Customer service orientation: Commitment to providing exceptional service and exceeding guest expectations.
· Problem-solving and analytical skills: Ability to identify and address challenges, analyze data, and develop effective solutions.
· Organizational and time management skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
· Experience in hospitality or related industries: 3 to 5 years experience in a similar role or in food and beverage management preferably in Dubai is highly desirable.
