F&B Accounting Specialist

This position is the Food and Beverage Accounting Specialist for SAVOR’s food and beverage operations at the ASM Knoxville Venues and reports to the Director of Food & Beverage. The primary job responsibilities are to ensure all assigned financial and operational tasks are completed accurately, including daily and monthly reporting and reconciliations, inventory, Smart Stores management and processing of F&B accounts payable. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. + Manage and take accountability for Dynamics 365 accounting software by entering all accounts payable invoices for food & beverage & submitting them for approvals + Responsible for accurate inventory tracking: create monthly inventory template for each ASM Knoxville venue, update prices on inventory sheets based on invoices, test counts, record month end inventory data from sheets turned in by Front and Back of House Management Team and F&B allocations to events including food cost + Track and record all product transfers between ASM Knoxville venues + Concessions reporting to include breakdown of items into appropriate categories for financial reporting + Maintain Clover POS system receipts, reporting, menu pricing & back of house maintenance + Create and maintain concessions and bar events, stand and par sheets and recipes in Clover POS system + Track and record all name brand product sales for corporate reports + Reconcile event Clover POS system reports & contracted vendor settlement statements + Log all 3rd party commission payments + F&B Linen report + F&B Labor report + Management of Smart Store/Coca-Cola Vending area to include ordering, stocking, inventory, sales analysis and reporting + Assist the Director of Food & Beverage and Director of Finance in ad hoc analyses as needed QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: + Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Certification in Accounting or Finance preferred + Two (2) years related experience and/or training in Food & Beverage Operations, Point of Sale Systems, Inventory Accounting, Database Entry. + Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: + Demonstrate working knowledge of Food and Beverage operations, including inventory, invoices purchasing procedures and accounting practices + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills + Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines + Work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule to produce accurate results + Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, vendors patrons, and others encountered in the course of employment + Work independently, exercising sound judgment and initiative + Must be able to multi-task between job functions + Customer Focused: driven to deliver best-in-class service + Detail-oriented and strong analytical skills + Ability to convey detailed business drivers into big picture impact when communicating to executive + + Ability to work with and maintain confidential information COMPUTER SKILLS: + Operate a personal computer using Windows and Microsoft Office software. Must have good working knowledge of Word and Excel software programs. + Some experience with Dynamics 365, VenueOps and point of sale systems desirable OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: + This position will require the ability to interact with all levels of staff including executive management + Requires the ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
