F&A Systems Specialist

This position monitors the health of assigned processes, programs, policies, systems and tools to identify areas of process improvement. **Job Summary** This position supports other UPS groups concerning processes, system and projects. This position will be involved on project teams with other departments, like IT and Operations to deploy new solutions. This position assists with the research, evaluation, development and implementation of solutions to eliminate identified issues. As part of the OTC team, he/she is responsible for documenting processes and procedures, developing process maps, improving existing processes, creating reference information, send PPS/GCS formal communications, and providing operational support to ensure efficient use of resources. He/She participates in conference calls to investigate and determine resolution of issues. This position gathers and documents business requirements for system development and improvements to application functionality based on those calls. He/She builds and sustains relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organization and ensures all inquiries will be handling properly and on time. He/she serves as the UPS Subject Matter Expert (SME) in their assigned areas of responsibility (AR or Collection). He/She works with internal/external users, systems support and multi-disciplinary groups to help AR teams around the world. **Responsibilities:** + Actively participates on project team calls with internal groups. + Creates project plans considering goals, timelines and external factors. + Evaluates processes and systems to ensure compliance. + Maps and documents business process. + Conveys application requirements for IT systems. + Reviews issues with appropriate personnel as needed to assign specific actions required for resolution. + Assesses requested information to ensure alignment with business needs, objectives, and practices. + Communicates resolutions to requesters to ensure understanding and acceptance. + Preforms system testing as needed. + Develops training materials for new processes and provides user training as needed. + Participates in conference calls to investigate and determine resolutions of issues + Educates administrative groups on proper procedures and verifies adherence. + Partners with various departments to resolve mailbox inquiries. + Participates in implementation of new or improved processes to ensure proper usage and adherence. **Qualifications:** + At least six months employment track at current position in UPS + Fluent English + Must have experience with Accounts Receivable and Collections systems + Must have a Bachelor’s Degree or be a current UPS employee with three years of UPS experience + Must have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint and Outlook + Excellent time management and prioritization skill + Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills + Attention to details, ability to analyze different figures & data + Demonstrates a global perspective and exhibits openness, flexibility, and a heightened aptitude for working within diverse cultural nuances (local constraints, perceptions, and sensitivities) + Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology - Preferred + Experience with Data Management (ARDM, FDM, etc.) – Preferred + Experience with electronic payment methods – Preferred + knowledge of Access, SQL, Power Bi – Is a plus + Experience with project management and process mapping – Is a plus + Experience working with application developers – Preferred – Is a plus **Preferences:** + Previous experience coordinating people + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields + Process improvement (internal or external) + Grade: 10C **Employee Type:** Permanent UPS is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
