Job Description:

The Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) F-35 IT program support contract provides knowledge-based, information assurance and cybersecurity IT services to the F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office (JPO). Our services include program management, enterprise performance management, enterprise architecture, implementation of emerging capabilities and requirements, life cycle management, operations & maintenance, enterprise data management, service desk support and IT training.

HOW OUR MCM ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Administer and maintain server environments, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting with a comprehensive knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure. Specialized expertise in Assured Compliance Assessment Solution(ACAS) implementation and management, prioritizing critical security patches based on threat intelligence and vulnerability assessments.

Install, configure, and utilize vulnerability assessment tools and remediation platforms to identify, prioritize and remediate security vulnerabilities across the enterprise environment.

Oversee the patch management lifecycle utilizing MCM and Intune, including the planning, testing, and deployment of updates for operating systems and third-party applications.

Create Advertisement/Collections/Packages/Applications within an MCM.

Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams and end-users.

Provide reporting with Systems Management Center Server or MCM and the MCM database. 

Utilize PowerShell to generate custom reports for system status, compliance, and software deployments, ensuring timely insights into MCM operations.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED (Required)

Required Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance.

Required Experience: 5 Years of experience in system administration with a focus on patch management disciplines and protocols, including comprehensive knowledge of specific patch management tasks.

Experience with Intune

Required Certifications:

DoD Manual 8140.03 (441) Network Operations Specialist – Intermediate.

Intermediate level industry certification from one of the following: Microsoft, CompTIA, AWS, VMware, or relevant technology

Education: BS/BA MS/MA Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering Information Technology Management or a related technical or IT discipline. Allowable Substitution: 6 years of additional work experience without a Degree or 4 years of related experience with an AA/AS degree.

Work Location: Hybrid – 2 days onsite at Eglin AFB, FL and 3 days remote.

The likely salary range for this position is $102,000 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
