F-16 Phase Inspection Mechanic - F-16 Contract Logistics Support (CLS) – Foreign Military Sales (IRAQ)
**Description** **Major Job Activities** Key Responsibilities: + 30% - Train, advise, assist, and integrate IqAF personnel in executing scheduled phase inspections and related maintenance. + 25% - Perform detailed inspections of airframe, avionics, engine, landing gear, and structural components. + 15% - Identify discrepancies and conduct required maintenance actions during inspection cycles. + 10% - Ensure accurate use of technical orders, maintenance procedures, and inspection checklists. + 10% - Document all findings, discrepancies, and corrective actions in maintenance tracking systems. + 5% - Recommend improvements to inspection processes and maintenance turnaround times. + 5% - Perform other duties as assigned by Site Leadership. **Material & Equipment Directly Used** Inspection tools, test stands, borescopes, maintenance platforms, aircraft jacks, technical publications, Microsoft Office. **Working Environment** Aircraft hangar and maintenance environment in a deployed setting. Exposure to flightline and shop hazards. **Physical Activities** Standing, climbing, bending, and lifting; working on aircraft structures and systems in elevated or confined areas. **Qualifications** Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical training in aircraft maintenance preferred. Certifications: USAF 7-skill level (Craftsman) in Aircraft Maintenance Experience: 8 to 8 to 8 to 10 years of experience conducting phase inspections on F-16 or similar fighter aircraft. Other Requirements: U.S. Citizenship; eligible for Secret clearance; international experience preferred; deployable worldwide including to the Middle East.
