BGS is seeking a F-15C Simulator Technician II to support the F‐15C Weapons and Tactics Trainers at the Tyndall AFB, Florida.

Position Responsibilities:

Assists with operations, repairs, tests, installs, configures, and upgradesAssists in the modification of simulators and training components, devices, hardware, and softwarePerforms general inspections for pre‐operations, post‐operations, and component handling of training devices, assemblies, and componentsInspects components and/or Line‐Replaceable Units to verify status prior to installationAssists engineers in troubleshooting systems and support equipmentTroubleshoots to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty componentsAssists instructors/aircrews during scheduled training missionsPerforms logistical, administrative, and other collateral duties as necessary to maintain the training devicesOccasional travel required for urgent simulator maintenance activities and/or training opportunitiesWorks under partial supervision

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance with U.S. citizenshipAbility to obtain access to Special Access Program (SAP)Ability to obtain CompTIA Sec+ certification within 18 months from start dateAbility to work rotating shiftsAbility to climb ladders at heights up to 6 feet and stairs on a regular basisAbility to lift to 35 pounds on a frequent basis

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Associate’s degree or equivalent in related work experienceF-15 (or comparable fighter-type) flight line avionics backgroundExperience in electronics, computer information systems, visual display systems, and/or simulation systems

Rotating Shifts:

1st shift hours are   6:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M.2nd shift hours are 12:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.
