What You'll Do as an Extrusion Operator:

Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion machines to produce high-quality plastic products.Measure and load pelletized, powdered, or liquid additives into machine hoppers for mixing.Inspect and maintain quality standards throughout the production process.Perform routine machine maintenance, including disassembly and cleaning.Troubleshoot and resolve equipment or process issues as they arise.Adhere to all safety protocols and workplace guidelines.

Work Experience

What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:

Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience is required.Experience in plastics extrusion techniques is preferred.Ability to read gauges, dials, and indicators to ensure proper machine operation.Strong mechanical knowledge for machine setup and adjustments.Forklift operation experience is a plus (training available)Proficiency in using hand tools for maintenance and repairs.Requires frequent physical activity, including standing, walking, kneeling, climbing, crouching, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs independently or heavier items with team assistance.
