The External Sales Representative is responsible for achieving sales targets within a designated territory by promoting Xylem’s range of products and solutions to customers, with a strong focus on the mining sector and other industrial applications. The Role will be servicing the **Pilbara Region** . The role: + Implement a targeted sales plan, developed in collaboration with the Sales Manager, to achieve sales, profit, and growth objectives within the assigned territory. + Conduct regular customer visits in line with the sales plan, offering tailored product recommendations and engineering solutions to meet customer requirements, while promoting value-added services such as spare parts, equipment hire, and service contracts. + Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities by leveraging market intelligence, tender platforms, and leads from upcoming construction or infrastructure projects. + Prepare accurate sales orders, reports, and all necessary documentation to meet branch operational standards and customer expectations. + Contribute to the broader sales team by attending regular sales meetings, sharing insights, and providing updates on progress through CRM systems. + Represent Xylem at marketing events, industry exhibitions, sales promotions, and trade shows to strengthen brand visibility and grow the customer base. + Ensure all sales activities align with Xylem’s pricing strategies and adhere to Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and Quality Assurance standards. + Act as a trusted advisor to customers, addressing technical queries and service needs promptly, fostering long-term relationships and encouraging repeat business. About you: + Qualification in Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or related Fields. + Prior Proven Experience in an External Sales role with experience in generating leads. + Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully communicate with customers. + Demonstrated proficiency in using CRM platforms, Microsoft Office applications, and other sales management tools to support effective sales planning and reporting. + Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing demands, and consistently meet deadlines.
